SWORDS FOR SALE

1912 Special Pattern Officers Cavalry Sword 10th Hussars by Wilkinson GRVI

Description: An extra fine example of this much sought after pattern of sword. Hilt, including grip and wiring, is in excellent order, while the blade is absolutely spotless. Complete with sword not with Prince of Wales feathers button; a very nice touch. The ceremonial scabbard is likewise in super order with no damage or loss to the plating.

This sword is numbered 68788 for 1941, one of just 32 swords made by Wilkinson in that year. This must surely be one of the very last swords of this pattern made by Wilkinsons.

Provenance: Pending research.

Price: Final sale price witheld.
