SWORDS FOR SALE

1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword for Flights GRVI

Description: This sword is in good condition and comes complete with a leather service scabbard and frogging. The blade is beautifully etched with the royal arms to one side and the cypher of George VI to the other. The ricasso bears the name of the outfitter Flights to one side and a brass proof plug for (probably) the makers Starkey of London to the other. There are a few spots of very minor tarnishing/corrosion to the blade (these should easily polish out) and the hilt is in a similar condition.

With a little attention this sword could soon be brought back to parade ground condition.
