SWORDS FOR SALE

1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Sword by Deakin

Description: A super example of this scarce pattern of sword in excellent original condition. The leather grip is complete and undamaged, though the brass wiring is missing, and the blade is firm in the hilt with no looseness. There is very light pitting overall to the guard, backstrap and pommel but there is no damage or deformation of these parts.

The blade is in fine condition and it retains most of its original polish with just some slight staining here and there. Also, there are some very small nicks along the edge. The makers name of ‘Deakin’ is stamped on the top back edge of the blade.

The scabbard is very lightly pitted overall but it is complete with its two suspension rings and there area no dents or other damage.
